They drill fast, and last a long time. Surprised to see they were made in Japan, but don't let that fool you, They are of excellent quality! Picture of ad clearly shows the core bit attached with a shank and centering pin. When I received the item there was only the core drum, no shank or centering pin. I reviewed the ad and saw a mention well down the page of ad stating a shank was needed. It did not state a centering pin was needed.
