In this time both the reciprocating saw as well as the hammer drill have failed and are inoperable. The reciprocating saw failed not by cutting lumber with nails in it, but rather juniper branches at best an inch thick. A few nights ago, while installing my door threshold (or attempting to), my hammer drill failed while trying to drill into concrete with a 5/32" Tapcon bit! All I can say is I am thankful for my friend letting me borrow his Milwaukee drill so I could get the job done. The Litheon batteries are much better than the 24 volt NiCads.
