Agreed.I also bought the Bosch DBSW961 Speedwave 9" Segmented Diamond Blade for cutting concrete and brick... Excellent combination, cuts like a hot knife thru butter. As large as it is (9" seems largest angle grinder available) the depth for *cutting* is only about 3" because over an inch is lost on the spindle, and another 1/2" with the grinder guard in place. One can argue "it's only a grinder", which is true, but then Bosch makes, sells and recommended cutting blades for it as well.I bought it originally to cut thru 4" red-clay brick walls, but as noted it lacks the cutting depth, though the power was there, and lacked a cutting guard/dust collector. Because it is electric, it can be used indoors, but can not do wet-cutting to keep dust down. Lack of a cutting dust collector makes a huge mess. As a grinder, it works very well, though lacking a center position for the auxiliary handle which becomes important for good control and grip in awkward positions.It cleans up well, using compressed air.For my cutting needs, I later also bought the Bosch 1365K 14-Inch Portable Abrasive Cut-Off Machine0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.1994 angle grinderBy blazeshopped a long time and compaired advantages, price and practical uses of the grinder ,like the twist handle power and continuous torque of the motor and found that it all come together, even the d handle especially ,it is everything bosch said it was and the conviences are important0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.Good grinderBy D. De VotoCuts very fast and is extremely smooth. Tons of torque! I like the tool-less blade guard though it does reduce the depth of the cut somewhat. The pivoting handle works well and is a must have feature for a grinder this big. Would have liked to seen 3 positions for the auxiliary handle instead of the 2 (left and right).
